Graduate Leadership Academy

The IDeA Leadership academy has been created to provide an integrated approach to the provision of academic and skills training within the ngdp.

It has three key elements:

Warwick Postgraduate Diploma in Local Government Management

There are six taught modules, each delivered in a three-day residential format at Warwick. You must also produce one 8,000-word, work-based dissertation.

These modules are designed to support your personal and career development by giving you an understanding of your learning style, as well as building your leadership, communication and political skills. You will learn how to manage your career effectively, in addition to managing organisational and personal change. We offer interactive sessions, lectures and contact with relevant experts. Additional learning resources are provided through IDeA.
